Kan Yama Kan

Kan Yama Kan is a retelling of the classic 1001 Nights. The theatrical premiere took place in Riyadh in February 2022. The production featured original music composition; world-class musicians performing live; a versatile international ensemble of dancers; state of the art puppetry, art projections and narrative storytelling in Arabic.

With female empowerment at its core, the project was creatively conceived of and led by Zeina Ashour and her company Wonderjunkie. I worked on the production as a producer and have since continued to work with Zeina/Wonderjunkie on the strategic development of the company.
