West of the Jordan

West of the Jordan is an Americana Rock Opera steeped in American roots music and the history, mythology and natural beauty of the American West. The music and direction for the project is being developed out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, with an international creative team. The show is being put together with a view to world premiere in Tulsa in 2024 ahead of a North American Tour.

With a back story spanning some fifteen thousand years before European contact, the main action of West of the Jordan is set in the twilight of the so-called “Wild West” period during the second half of the 19th Century, when the transition from a tentatively shared wilderness to a Euro-American civilisation was at its climax. 

I am working closely with the core creative team as Executive Producer on all aspects of the project's development.
